Our Story
Shotnest Atelier was founded by installers and designers who believe that precision and presentation belong together. We set out to codify the tacit knowledge of elite assembly—the tiny habits that separate ordinary builds from heirloom-quality finishes.
From day one we banned shortcuts that compromise safety or beauty. Our curricula grew from real jobsites: loft apartments with fragile plaster, studios with uneven concrete, and penthouses with silk wallcoverings. Every technique we teach is field-proven and repeatable.
Mission & Principles
-
Respect the material
We protect wood fibers, finishes, and hardware tolerances. The finish line is where reputations are made.
-
Engineer the sequence
Great builds follow great sequencing. We teach order-of-operations that keeps surfaces pristine and crews synchronized.
-
Earn trust, every room
Clients invite us into their spaces. White-glove etiquette and spotless cleanup are non-negotiable.
